Open for Private Prayer

As the phased easing of controls introduced to stem the spread of coronavirus continue we are now able to open St Andrews for private prayer. Public worship at St Andrews remains suspended for the time being but from 20 July 2020 the church building will be open from 11:00 to 13:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday as a place of quite reflection and prayer for those that wish to make such use of the building. We ask that, should you come to the church during these times, you comply with precautions in place to reduce the risk presented by corona virus.

On Wednesdays at 08:30 we say Morning Prayer through the medium of ‘Zoom’. All are welcome to join with us with detail of the connection codes given below. If you have specific prayer requests, wish further prayer support or would simply like a chat please use the prayer request page on our web site:

Practical support if required may be requested through the Alford Support Group for coronavirus crisis at:

As a precautionary act for your protection and in consideration of others that will use this space we ask that you ‘wash’ your hands on entry and exit with the sanitiser provided at the entrance to the church.

May the Peace of Christ be with you all in these stressful times.
